How to Become a GREAT Theoretical Physicist

A reading guide, not an argument. Theoretical training has two orthogonal axes: mastering the existing map — honouring 't Hooft's celebrated curriculum, with a fast on-ramp through the canon — and learning how maps are made, evaluated, and ultimately replaced. The first is the standard education; the second is the discipline the Clean Physics foundations (SF1–SF3) set out. This guide charts a route through both, for anyone who wants not merely to learn physics as it stands, but to understand how it advances.
